Plain terms for a simple app.

Rekall is provided as-is without warranty of any kind. By using Rekall you accept these terms.

Use of the app

• Rekall is for personal, non-commercial use only.
• You are responsible for the screenshots you capture and the data that exists in them — passwords, financial info, personal details, etc.
• Deleting a screenshot inside Rekall routes through the iOS Photos delete confirmation. We do not bypass it.

AI classification

• AI-generated titles, tags, and importance flags are produced by Apple's on-device model and may be wrong. They are suggestions, not authoritative labels.
• Do not rely on AI-generated importance flags alone for time-critical decisions (boarding times, codes that expire, etc.). Verify against the original screenshot.

Rekall Pro subscription

• Rekall is free to use for your 50 most recent screenshots. Rekall Pro removes that limit and adds AI-ranked search, Smart Collections, flight tracking on the Lock Screen, and export.
• Rekall Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription: $4.99 per month, or $29.99 per year. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you don't cancel before it ends.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.
• Prices are shown in your local currency on the paywall and may vary by region. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
• Cancelling Pro never deletes anything. Your index stays on the device; screenshots beyond the free limit simply stop being searchable until you resubscribe.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rekall and its author are not liable for any data loss, misclassification, or other harm arising from use of the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated in future versions. The latest version is always accessible here and in the app's Settings.
